Del Rosario, Laguitan dominate ABC Cup
MANILA, Philippines - Nepthy del Rosario of Boysen Acrytex stamped his class in Group I while Edwin Laguitan of ABC Phils. dominated Group 2 as they led the winners in the Architects Bowling Club’s Architects Cup at E Lanes on Ortigas Ave., San Juan last week.
Del Rosario rolled a six-game series of 1286 to beat Jerry Cham of Boysen Perlecente (1283) and Dante Manglicmot of Boysen Virtuoso (1280) for the Group I crown in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
Laguitan, on the other hand, assembled 1104 to cop the Group 2 title over Robert Olete of JS Alvarez Electrical Contractor (1076) and Frederick Chuongco of Boysen Wallguard (1054).
The tournament resumes at 4 p.m. today with the qualifying events on ABC’s 35th anniversary, also at E Lanes.
