Burlington, PBA holds cage clinic

MANILA, Philippines - Kids can now learn to play basketball from the professionals for practically free this summer with the opening of the Burlington-Batang PBA Clinic on May 7 at Ali Mall in Quezon City.

The special project of the Philippine Basketball Association and Burlington Industries Phils, Inc that will have PBA coaches and players as instructors/trainors is open to boys and girls ages to 7 to 12 years old.

“We want the children to be involved in worthy undertakings like sports during their vacation without burdening their parents with the costs so we have this tie-up with the PBA,” said Ruddy Tan, general manager of Burlington.

Participants must just show receipt or proof of purchase worth P100 of Burlington socks to be able to join the 3-5 p.m. session at the mall named in honor of Muhammad Ali located at the Araneta Center.

The Burlington-Batang PBA Clinic will likewise be conducted on May 14, 28 and June 4.
