Pampanga Stars turn back Amigos in tuneup

The Pampanga Stars came roaring back in the final quarter to slip past the Casino Cagayan de Oro Amigos in an exhibition game last June 4 at the Loyola Center in Quezon City, 96-95.

Both teams finished with forgettable records in the just concluded Metropolitan Basketball Association (MBA) First Conference. The Amigos tallied a 2-8 win-loss card while the Stars were at 1-8.

They are both currently undergoing major retooling for the more prestigious Nationals set to commence on June 15.
