Ayala Malls style origin at Alabang Town Center: Celebrity style at Alabang Town Center

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - In the South of Metro Manila, ATC is the community’s second home, an extension of their lifestyle. Here, even celebrities can be at their most relaxed, dressed in classic casuals while remaining fashion-forward.

Rhian Ramos

"When I come here alone to do some work, I wear something comfortable like a pair of sandals and shorts and loose top. When I come here to meet with friends and hang out at night for some drinks or something, I dress up for it. With family, my outfits are sporadic — depending on what everyone else is wearing or my reason to go to the mall — maybe jeans and a hoodie."

Tweetie De Leon-Gonzalez

"My kids and I are always at ATC. This is the go-to place for necessities. When my kids say, 'Mom, can I go out?' 'Where will you go?' 'ATC.' So then I know it’s a controlled environment — I feel they’re safe in the mall. I really feel this is home."

When asked about her shopping style, Tweetie replied, "When I’m with other people, I like going with them to help them choose. But when I’m with someone, I cannot shop for myself. I need to be alone. And I’m not a window shopper that’s why when I’m up to shop, I know what to get, I know it right away. I come here a lot and  it’s a big part of my life so I know the mall inside out. If, say, I need running shoes, art stuff or a certain kind of book, I know where to go. It’s an easy decision.”

Marc Nelson

"I usually wear something casual — a polo shirt or collared shirt with cargo shorts and slippers or other regular shoes like Sperry. Depending on the mall and its temperature, I might throw on a scarf or a hoodie."

Patty Betita

"I would usually wear just a casual tee and jeans and flats or Havaianas. Sometimes also cotton trousers, a tee and ballet flats. Then, add on an oversized bag.

“I have to be relaxed and comfortable when shopping. No jewelry as much as possible and comfy shoes are a must!”
