Pinoy Elvises Rock Merks
MANILA, Philippines – The Elvis Presley Friendship Club Phils. Int’l., the only club accredited by Graceland, Memphis, USA, and a member of the Elvis Presley Alliance of Asia which includes Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, and the Philippines, presents “The Best of Elvises in the Philippines” on Aug. 15 at Merks Bar Bistro, third floor, Greenbelt III, Ayala Center, Makati City. The show stars Eric Alvarez, grand champion, Enchanted Kingdom Elvis Contest 2009; Homer Mendoza, Elvis 50s Best Sound Alike; Chito Bertol, founding chairman of EPFCP and Original Elvis Presley of the Phils.; Douglas Masuda, the Elvis from Japan; Alex Torres, winner, EPFC Elvis Contest 2007; Romy Dancel, winner, Eat Bulaga Elvis Contest; and Jun Poncio, Pinoy Elvis of Australia. Tickets are available at the Manila Seedling Bank Foundation (MSBF) and Merks for P800 inclusive of dinner. The show is for the benefit of the MSBF’ various environmental projects.
