Supreme

Rockin' beats

-

MANILA, Philippines - You are what you listen to. For some, this may hold true — like bassist and rock music lover Richard Carandang who loves, lives, and breathes rock through and through. With his band, DeLara, they rock the airwaves and the ears of every audiophile with their spunky and intelligently structured pop rock music.

This week, Supreme gets the lowdown on what tunes he’s listening and singing to now:

What kind of music do you listen to? I’m still stuck with the ’90s alternative grunge scene.

What was your first favourite song? Hard to Handle by Black Crowes.

What song makes you cringe when you hear it? Rascall Flat’s Life is a Highway l

What genre would you rather not listen to? Why?

Hiphop! My ears and I just don’t agree with it.

If your life were a song, which one would it be?

No Excuses by Alice In Chains.

What’s on your music playlist now?

Our own songs from our DeLara album — Smile, Lost In The Eyes Of A Stranger, Masarap Nga, Work Out, Haybol, Wari, Say Hello, Super Psychic, and Gumising.
