Young girls doll up for Barbie
MANILA, Philippines - Fashionable little girls recently enjoyed the chance to be Barbie for a day at the Barbie Play with Fashion event at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium.
Nearly 1,200 guests flocked to the venue for the Barbie experience, which included a Barbie Nail Art booth where girls had their nails painted, a Whimsy Body Glitter Art section for fancy tattoos, and a Bea-dollicious corner for DIY beaded necklaces and bracelets.
Also part of the event was the Fashion Mash-up Photo Booth, which allowed participants to take home souvenir photos from the day, and the must-see Barbie Dream Closet — a life-size fashion haven for young girls who love to dress up—complete with a fashion stylist, who assisted young girls in as they tried on different pieces from the closet.
“It was great to see so many families bringing along their little girls for the Barbie Play with Fashion event,” Richwell COO Maye Yao Co Say enthused. “Girls are never too young to explore fashion, and I believe Barbie just provided them the perfect venue to do so.”
Barbie is available at all leading department stores nationwide and at Barbie Boutiques in SM Mall of Asia, Trinoma, Festival Mall, SM Megamall, Glorietta 1, Robinsons Midtown Manila, Lucky China Town Mall, Alimall, Market Market, and Harbor Point Mall.
