A sharp piece of history by Victorinox

MANILA, Philippines - Victorinox Swiss Knife unveils yet another collectible creation with the “iamninoyiamcory” limited-edition Classic Swiss Army Knife. The pocket knife comes in bright yellow cellidor handle, which is the shade associated with the hero couple and is packaged in a similarly-colored giftable box. The topside of the handle bears the images of Ninoy and Cory Aquino while the bottom part is emblazoned with Ninoy’s iconic eyeglasses and “iamninoyiamcory” logo.  

This elegant pocket knife is composed of handy everyday tools such as a blade, nail file, nail cleaner, scissors, key ring, tweezer and toothpick. Practical and timeless, it is a tribute to the spirit of sacrifice and love of country exemplified by the two beloved democracy icons.

Through the “iamninoyiamcory” Swiss Army Knife, Victorinox hopes to capture and convey the spirit of nationalism as exemplified by the couple. “The Victorinox brand has transcended multiple generations through its timeless, high-quality products. We are leveraging on the brand’s heritage and the product’s durability to impart the legacy of Ninoy and Cory to today’s youth and the generations to come,” said Terence Chua, Victorinox Swiss Army Knife senior product manager.

Victorinox was founded by Swiss cutler and entrepreneur Karl Elsener in 1884. His business started supplying the Swiss Army soldiers with knives in 1891.
