Bea Zobel Jr., Sofia Zobel de Ayala Elizalde and Paloma Urquijo Zobel

Philanthropist Bea Zobel Jr. is once again spearheading the fourth Designers’ Holiday Bazaar showcasing items from noted Filipino designers. A percentage of the sales will go to a really good cause — the Center of Excellence in Public Elementary Education (CENTEX). The said organization provides holistic, quality education for bright children from economically disadvantaged families, honing their confidence and competencies not just inside the classroom but also through after-hours learning in the performing arts and other skill-building activities.  The stylish socialites in attendance enjoyed shopping and perusing the items, all of which are distinctly Filipino — from design to craftsmanship. The 2017 Designers’ Holiday Bazaar will be held at The Gallery of Greenbelt 5 until Dec. 17.
