Free septic tank de-sludging for Valenzuela, Parañaque

-

MANILA, Philippines – As an added service to its customers, the Maynilad Water Services Inc. (MWSI) has announced that it will be providing free septic tank de-sludging services on May 3 and May 8 to its patrons living in selected areas of Valenzuela and Parañaque.

This is aimed at preventing the clogging of residential sewage systems and providing a clean and healthy environment for its customers by minimizing the discharge of pollutants which affect the quality of ground water drawn by deep wells and may cause diseases as well as foul odor.

“Regular de-sludging of septic tanks contributes greatly to keeping homes clean and disease-free. I encourage Parañaque residents whose areas are covered by this service to avail themselves of this MWSI offer since it does not only clear homes of potentially harmful wastes, it is also free of charge,” says Mayor Jun Bernabe.

To avail themselves of the free service, residential customers must present their official receipt of water bill payment; the account must be updated. The septic tank must have an access manhole that is at least one square foot; it must be in good structural condition. Septic tank de-sludging should be done once every five to seven years.

The Parañaque areas covered by the service are Brgy. San Isidro, Brgy. San Martin de Porres, and Brgy. San Dionisio.

Inquiries may be made through Maynilad Water Services hotlines 981-3401 and 981-3402. For more information, visit the MWSI website: http://www.mayniladwater.com.ph/services-02.php.
