MANILA, Philippines - The Peninsula Manila celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival by bringing in The Peninsula Group’s famous mooncakes. Exclusively available at The Peninsula Boutique, these Chinese delicacies are made with a sweet dense filling and covered by a thin soft pastry skin, and typically have a whole salted egg yolk center to symbolize the full moon. These sweet morsels are available until supplies last.
Special mooncakes at The Peninsula Boutique are priced at P2,880 for Mini Mooncakes (8 pcs.), P2,880 for Assorted Mini Mooncakes (8 pcs.), and P3,880 for Large Mooncakes (4 pcs.)

Acacia Hotel offers a la carte dining at The Lobby, which is open from 6 a.m. to 12 midnight. There are 45 food creations, which can be ordered any time of the day. Bestselling dishes include the triple mushroom soup, triple-decker sandwich (two layers of grilled prawns, seared chicken fillet, smoked salmon, iceberg lettuce, avocado relish, and sundried tomato on toasted black pepper brioche served with French fries on the side), Angus beef burger (six-oz. US Angus beef burger patty with trimmings and served with choice of cheddar, blue cheese, fried egg or crispy bacon); Acacia Supreme Pizza, charcoal-grilled prime rib eye (tender and cooked the way you like it); gyuniku teriyaki bento (grilled beef tenderloin in teriyaki sauce served with Japanese miso soup, Japanese fried rice, crab meat salad, salmon and tuna), nasi goreng (stir-fried rice served with chicken satay), lechon kawali, and Oreo mud pie (vanilla ice cream and crushed Oreos). From 5 to 9 p.m., guests may indulge in a wine buffet or beer buffet for only P549 and P500, respectively.
