A grand Christmas dinner

It was an exquisite evening filled with yuletide cheers as dapper president of Philippine Hoteliers Inc. and regional vice president of Dusit International Gerhard Kropp, together with the newly-appointed GM Prateek Kumar of Dusit Thani Manila and your columnist, welcomed guests as they made their way to the brightly-lit and beautiful Christmas-themed lobby of the plush hotel. They headed to Tosca, Dusit Thani’s highly awarded Italian restaurant, Ih was adorned with cheerful ornaments and a dazzling tree, truly living up to the joyous spirit of the season. Manila’s high society Iing taipans, diplomats and top businessmen were treated to a grand Christmas dinner replete with excellent wines perfectly complemented by Italian delicacies such as Agnello Arrosto Con Patate Novelle Spinaci E Pancetta and the Mille Foglie Al Cioccolato Con Cuore Al Caffe. The night became even more radiant as internationally acclaimed and multi-awarded Hoseki jewelry showcased its stunning array of charms through a breathtaking jewelry show. Setting a romantic mood to the elegant affair, operatic singer Lorenzo serenaded the guests with Italian songs. Everyone was delighted as the one-of-a-kind gathering culminated with fabulous prizes raffled off to lucky guests. Truly, it was a grand affair to remember this season of giving. Holiday cheers!
