Ashley Ortega happy for ex Mark Alcala if rumored romance with Kathryn Bernardo true
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Ashley Ortega admitted that she has no idea if her ex-boyfriend, politician Mark Alcala, is now in a relationship with actress Kathryn Bernardo.
In her interview with "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Ashley said that she idolizes Kathryn and she is happy for them if the latter is in a relationship with the Lucena City mayor.
“Siyempre, si Kathryn, I idolize her as an actress, so parang, 'oh wow.' Ang swerte naman ni Mark, nakakuha siya ng Kathryn Bernardo,” she said.
“But again, I’m happy for both of them. I’m just happy for them because it’s been years na rin na nakahanap siya ng decent girl,” she added.
Ashley said that she has no communication with Mark since their breakup.
“I don’t think we’re friends anymore because ever since nag-break kami, we never saw each other na, and we never talked na rin,” she said.
When asked if it's a bad breakup, Ashley said they mutually ended their relationship.
“I don’t think it was a bad breakup. It was mutual, and ‘yun talaga. We just never bump into each other. If dumating ang time na we bump into each other, of course, I’m gonna say hi,” she said.
Ashley and Mark dated from 2020 to 2022. Ashley is currently in a relationship with actor-host Mavy Legaspi.
