Boy Abunda defends Bea Alonzo, Dominic Roque after confirming split
MANILA, Philippines — Television host Boy Abunda came to the defense of actors Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque following the couple's alleged split.
On the February 6 episode of his show "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Boy shared that his sources confirmed Bea and Dominic's separation after three years.
In an interview with the media a day after the episode aired, Boy reiterated he had shared all he knew about Bea and Dominic's current situation, which he obtained from reliable sources.
"Delikado 'yung speculations dahil malay natin inaayos pa, nag-uusap... I don't know, how much do we really know?" Boy said. "Sana we can be a little kinder because we can do criticisms and commentaries, but I can imagine that what they're going through is very difficult."
Neither Bea nor Dominic has reached out to Boy, but like most people, the host is eager to talk with either actor and hear them out.

Boy acknowledged the negative reactions that came after he confirmed the breakup, which some social media users argued should come from the couple. He was quick to defend both individuals from damaging speculations.
"May sobrang komentaryo na, 'Ang may kasalanan dito ay si Bea because her relationships with Gerald Anderson and Zanjoe Marudo didn't work so she is the problem' — I think that's unfair and not true," Boy said.
Boy noted how Dominic gets bashed for not being a superstar or having lots of money, which prompted Boy to ask for kindness towards Dominic and Bea.
A reliable source from Dominic's talent management agency told Philstar.com that Dominic is not telling them anything about the split.
The actor himself recently posted on his official Facebook account a reel of his sweet moments with Bea, accompanied by the caption, "Bea's a beautiful person inside 'n out... no hate/bashing/negative things please."
