Comedian 'Bentong' dies at 55

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino comedian Domingo Vusotros Brotamante Jr. or known as "Bentong" passed away Saturday morning. He was 55 years old.

Family members confirmed Bentong’s death in a social media post. 

He passed away at Fairview General Hospital. It was previously reported that Bentong suffered from diabetes.

Aside from being a comedian, Bentong was also known for co-hosting a noontime show in the past with Randy Santiago, John Estrada and Willie Revillame. — with a report from News5
