Makisig Morales now engaged to Miss Earth titlist
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actor Makisig Morales is now engaged to his Filipino-Australian beauty queen fiancée, Nicole Watts.
On his Instagram account, the former child star posted a photo of them together and captioned the photo: “My Fiance.”
For her part, the Miss Earth Australia Charity 2017 also posted a photo of what happened on the night of the engagement, with their hands locked on one another and showing her diamond sparkler.
“He stole my heart, so I’m stealing his last name,” wrote Nicole, who was also a New South Wales State finalist for Miss World Australia 2017.
Celebrities such as Rayver Cruz, Ryan Eigenmann, and Eruption congratulated the “Bagani” actor for the new milestone.
Makisig and Nicole just started posting photos of each other on their respective Instagram accounts late last month.
“Fight for the fairy tale it does exist,” Nicole wrote on the caption of a photo.
Before his romance with the Australian beauty queen, Makisig was in a relationship for five years with a non-showbiz girlfriend.
Makisig rose to fame after he finished 1st runner up in the singing competition “Little Big Star” in 2005. He then became a household name by portraying “Super Inggo,” which also starred Jairus Aquino and Kathryn Bernardo.
In a press conference for "Bagani," Makisig revealed that he left the limelight for a while to study in Australia, where he proposed to Nicole.
