A toast to Marmalade

MANILA, Philippines - Marmalade (photo) is composed of  Maryanna on sax, Kreole in keyboards and Rina, the group’s musical director, on percussions (on leave). For special shows, Audrey Cruz is the guest percussionist.

Tonight at 9, Paul Matcott, the Australian guest drummer, Alynna, singer-composer Anna Melissa and jazz artist Donna will perform with The Marmalade at RJ Bistro in Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati.

Guest musicians are led by Audrey, a sessionist-percussionist — a member of Escola de Samba de Manila, while Paul, the Australian drummer-teacher has earned his music degree in the US.

The female performers will sing different genres, showing Marmalade’s versatility as musicians.

Alynna will perform standard songs, while Anna Melissa dishes out pop songs and Donna will do jazz.
