GMA News TV resumes Chief Justice on Trial

MANILA, Philippines - Today, GMA News TV’s special coverage The Chief Justice on Trial resumes its comprehensive live coverage of the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona.

Anchored by GMA News pillars Arnold Clavio and Vicky Morales, together with seasoned broadcast journalists Ivan Mayrina, Rhea Santos and Kara David, The Chief Justice on Trial provides viewers a blow-by-blow account of the impeachment trial from Mondays to Thursdays at 2 p.m.

The Chief Justice on Trial also features some of the best legal luminaries in the country to help the public understand the complexities of the process of the trial. These include former Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban, former deans at the UP College of Law Raul Pangalangan and Pacifico Agabin, dean of Ateneo School of Government Antonio G.M. La Viña, and UP College of Law professors Rowena Daroy Morales and Gwen De Vera.

There will be recaps in Quick Response Team at 6 p.m., followed by Balita Pilipinas Ngayon and later, State of the Nation with Jessica Soho.

Starting tomorrow, highlights will be shown in Dobol B sa News TV, News To Go, Balitanghali and News TV Live.
