Karylle now a Kapamilya

Confirmed: Karylle (photo) is now a Kapamilya.

Her bosses at the Kapuso GMA Network — SVP for Entertainment Wilma Galvante and VP for Magazine/Musical/Variety Darling de Jesus — have given her the go-signal to do projects for Kapamilya ABS-CBN.

This was announced by Carlo Orosa, business head of STAGES Talent Group which now manages Karylle.

“Karylle is grateful to GMA for all the opportunities the network has given her,” said Carlo.

But first, Karylle will finish her commitments with GMA, including appearances on S.O.P. and Kakasa Ka Ba sa Grade 5, and singing the National Anthem at the Manny Pacquiao-Oscar dela Hoya match in Las Vegas on Dec. 6.

ABS-CBN executives Deo Endrinal and Cory Vidanes said that Karylle will appear in the station’s musical-variety shows and soaps. She’s also set to do an album and reprise her critically-acclaimed portrayal of Maria in STAGES’ production of the Broadway musical West Side Story.
