Chroma Hospitality to open hotel in Clark, Pampanga

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – Chroma Hospitality, the hotel management company of Filinvest Development Corp., a global player in hotel management business, is set to open its second Quest Hotel and Conference Center in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. This is in relation to Filinvest Mimosa Inc.’s right to lease, develop, operate and manage the former Mimosa Leisure Estate owned by Clark Development Corp.

This is part of Filinvest Development Corp.’s aggressive plunge into the hospitality industry since it began in 2012 first with the opening of Crimson Resort and Spa in Mactan and the Quest Hotel in Cebu City.

The Quest Hotel in Clark will open in August this year with 303 rooms, a ballroom, several function rooms and an all-day cafe. The Quest Club lounge and Charley’s Tapas Bar will be added to the hotel. Guest rooms and other areas in the hotel will undergo immediate refurbishments to give it a brand-new Quest look and feel once it opens.

According to Chroma country manager James Montenegro, “Chroma Hospitality doesn’t just manage properties, we actually sell our brands.” Chroma Hospitality has a tradition of success and quality service in managing hospitality brands in various markets: Crimson Hotels & Resorts, Azure Beach Club and Quest Hotels. Crimson Hotels and Quest Hotels, in particular, have garnered several awards over the past few years.

Chroma currently operates the Crimson brand in Mactan Cebu and Filinvest City Alabang and will open in Boracay in early 2017.  Quest hotels are also being planned for Tagaytay and Dumaguete. Filinvest hotels envision adding more hotels and resorts in the Philippines within the next five years.

Chroma Hospitality has helped offer more than 1,000 rooms from these brands across the Philippines and Indonesia. From budget to luxury, these brands cover the full spectrum of the hotel management market. Furthermore, the company has shown no signs of stopping as its expansion plans cover properties currently in development in Cubao, Cebu, Mactan, and Dumaguete. In the next three years, even more launches will occur across Mactan and Tagaytay. The company’s aim of 5,000 rooms by 2020 are not unimaginable.

Chroma Hospitality also ties itself with the local community with their proactive approach that will nurture both its people and the environment. Platforms such as the reef habilitation, adopt-a-school programs, tree planting, slipper race, recycling and SCUBAsurero beach and reef cleaning, have allowed Chroma Hospitality’s brands to organically integrate themselves in the communities that they foster.
