Banner field competes in Southwoods seniors golf

MANILA, Philippines - A maximum 70-player field gears up for a tight battle for top honors when the Manila Southwoods Seniors Chapter presented by San Miguel PureFoods holds its final Seniors Trimester Birthday Bash golf tournament for the year on Dec. 2 at Southwoods’ Masters course in Carmona, Cavite.

Organized by the Seniors Chapter headed by president-tournament chairman Francisco Gonzalez and vice president Rod Pepito, the tournament, for 55-years-old-and-above, is open to senior chapter members and their respective guests. Expected to head the cast are the winners of the last trimester tournament, including Ariel Abonal (Class A), Mar Badillo (Class B) and Rod Pepito (Class C). Format is medal play with full handicap (max 36) using the Dec. UNHS course handicap.

Kart Plaza is staking a Yamaha Golf Cart for a hole-in-one feat.

The event is backed by hole sponsors Asia Pacific Golf Corp., Blackrock Corp., Brainmaster for Senior Moments, Megafiber Psyllium Fiber, Goutritis Herbal Supplement, Camp John Hay Golf Club, Columbia Wires and Cables, Forest Hills Golf Club, JCG Electrical Enterprise, Metro Convergence, Inc., Mizuno, Red Eagle Lending Investors Corp., Rudy Project Phils., Tomas Joson III and Warbird Security and Investigation Agency with Farmers Coffee, Caramba Foods Corp. and Le Chef as supporters.
