Del Rosario’s 67 nets 4th in Thai Open

MANILA, Philippines - Pauline del Rosario shot a tournament-best five under 67 to snatch fourth place and cap the amateurs’ domination of the Thailand Ladies Open topped by Sherman Santiwiwatthanaphong at the Siam Plantation Golf Club in Pattaya, Thailand Saturday.

Del Rosario, who captured the 13-14 crown in this year’s Junior World in San Diego, birdied four of the first five holes then added two more at the back to negate a lone bogey mishap on No. 7 for a 33-34.

With the fiery windup, Del Rosario rallied from 21st to finish solo fourth with a 217.

Santiwiwatthanaphong fired a four-under 68 to pool a three-under 213.
