Archers edge Tams

MANILA, Philippines - La Salle leaned on Jeron Teng and Mark Tallo as it turned back Far Eastern U, 58-54, in overtime in the Fr. Martin Summer Cup basketball tournament at the Trinity University of Asia gym in QC last Tuesday. 

Teng and Tallo combined for the Archers’ last seven points in extension as La Salle tied its victim at 2-1 in Group B. Teng finished with 16 markers while Tallo wound up with 10 points.

Letran and University of Perpetual Help Altas show the way with 2-0 cards.

Meanwhile, NCRAA champion Philippine Merchant Marine School Mariners defeated Ateneo-B, 50-41, for a 1-2 card.
