-
Aside from being a convergence of karting superstars and talented drivers, the Arthur Tuason Memorial Cup Karting is fast becoming the spawning ground of promising new faces.

Come Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, the event held in memory of car racing legend Arthur Tuason hopes to discover another batch of young future champions as it stages its third season at the Carmona Circuit Philippines.

A top prize of P40,000 plus Drive Mags Wheels will be at stake in the Bridgestone KT Novice class open to all newcomers and karting enthusiasts participating in this event sponsored by Bridgestone Tires, Hanjin Shipping, Carmona Circuit Philippines, Alaska Fresh, Drive Concept Wheels, Trapik.com and Magic 89.9.

Drive Mag Wheels will be awarded to the runner-up while the third placer will get gift packs.

The Alaska Fresh Cadet class, on the other hand, is open for kids who have the potential to go up to higher disciplines like F1. The champion in this class will be awarded the race sponsorship for 2003 while the runner-up and third placer will be given gift packs and trophies.

Proceeds of the event will go to the Leukemic Indigent Fund Endowment which has already received more than P100,000 donation for the past two years.

For interested people who want to race in the said event, the Tuason Racing School is also offering arrive and drive equipment rental.
