Man killed in gun attack

BINALONAN, Pangasinan, Philippines – A man was shot dead by motorcycle-riding men while taking his grandson to school in Barangay Cili here Monday. 

Claudio Bunuan, 68, of Barangay Sta. Catalina, was riding his motorcycle with his four-year-old grandson when he was attacked.

Bunuan was declared dead on arrival at the Urdaneta City District Hospital from a gunshot to the head. 

The child was not hurt in the attack. Investigators recovered three slugs for a caliber .45 pistol at the crime scene.

Police have yet to determine the motive for the killing.
