MANILA, Philippines — Suzuki Philippines Incorporated, a loyal participant in the annual Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) is showcasing this year a lineup of its most popular locally available vehicles. Among them are the new Swift hatchback, new Dzire mini-compact sedan, new Vitara, and the fast-selling Ciaz subcompact sedan.

Adhering to this year’s theme of ‘Future Mobility,’ the Suzuki booth will highlight the automotive brand’s continuous growth in the country and also its efforts to ceaselessly upgrade its products to keep them ‘future-ready’ for Filipinos.

“Suzuki has been for several years now an active participant in the Philippine International Motor Show,” remarked Vice President and General Manager of Suzuki Automobiles Philippines, Shuzo Hoshikura. He further explained that “For many years now, PIMS has been a strong platform for us to connect with our supporters much more directly and show them how we continue to upgrade the Suzuki vehicles they have loved. Beyond displaying our latest models, we want to share with them how fervent we continue to be in driving innovations that move the Filipino drivers and riders toward the future.”

If you’d like to learn more about their cars’ latest equipment and available technology, say for example the Suzuki Dzire’s Auto Gear Shift (AGS) – which is essentially a technology that provides drivers with the driving ease of an automatic combined with the fuel efficiency of a manual transmission  – then you can visit their booth at the trade event from September 24-28.

Of course you also wouldn’t like to miss taking a closer look at CAGI’s 2017 Car of the Year winner in the subcompact crossover category – the good-looking and value-for-money-brimming, Suzuki Vitara.

And while you’re at it, you might want to experience what it’s like to take a seat inside one of Suzuki’s top-selling models – the practical and comfortable Suzuki Ciaz subcompact sedan.

On top of the opportunity to familiarize yourselves with its latest model lineup, Suzuki Philippines also promises its visitors some top-notch entertainment. Today – on opening day – Suzuki brings you performances from alternative rock icon Bamboo, and premier dance group G-Force. Tomorrow, Filipino indie-alternative rock band Autotelic will be around to entertain visitors to the booth. And on Friday, Suzuki guests will be serenaded by Kris Lawrence.

The coming weekend will bring even more excitement as the Philippine Azkals will come pay the Suzuki booth a visit, as part of the ASEAN Football Federation’s Trophy Tour on October 27. The sisters-group ‘4th Impact’ and grand winner of Pilipinas Got Talent, Kristel de Catalina will also be there to captivate attendees.

Furthermore, on October 28 – the last day of the trade show – Suzuki Philippines will be inviting children aged four to 14 years old to come join the Suzuki Safety Scouts and participate in several activities that will help raise awareness about road safety. Becoming an official Safety Scout shall be free; and shall entail the interested participants to join in on some educational, traffic safety training. Safety Scouts will also receive a free Safety Scout uniform, and activity books to help them learn more about road safety!

And last but not the least, Asia’s Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan will serenade Suzuki’s booth visitors on Sunday, the last day of PIMS 2018.

The Suzuki exhibit area will be open from 10am-9pm, Wednesday to Sunday.
