From runway to center stage

MANILA, Philippines - I’ve known Bea since she was in high school. Even then she would walk around the house of her late brother, my dear friend Joel, serenading us with a mash-up of her favorite songs. Even alternative music sounded like an aria coming from Bea’s lips.

She has modeled for her family’s company in her teenage years, showcasing her more exotic Asian features framed by an almost cherubic face. Although her splendid genes may have been enough to make her the cover girl of many fashion magazines, she has taken to her greater passion, which is singing.

Either way, she is meant to be a star.
