‘Pambansang bae’ Alden Richards says Yazz to Christmas shopping

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Finding the perfect Christmas gift for your family, friends and loved ones is crucial. Often, it takes several trips and careful planning for people to complete their Christmas checklists. However, if you haven’t bought everything you need by now, you’re bound to find yourself joining the overwhelming crowd that will flock to the malls for their last-minute shopping.

For the “Pambansang Bae” Alden Richards, as much as he would love to leisurely shop at the mall, his hectic shooting schedule makes Christmas shopping understandably challenging.

But he has found the perfect solution and partner this season — Metrobank Card Corporation’s Yazz card. As the all-around prepaid VISA, the Yazz card allows cashless transactions with millions of accredited VISA merchants and ATMS worldwide. That spells shopping convenience with a swipe of card.

“What I love about Yazz is that I can use it anywhere — even online.  So if I can’t go to the mall, I can finish my Christmas shopping online with ease,” says the Kalyeserye leading man. “I can just go online and use my card to buy books and games, presents for my family, book travel tickets and even plan complete trips abroad from the comfort of my own room.”

Yazz  has become such a convenient partner for Alden. In fact, Yazz has redefined the way he shops, works and lives. “I’m normally the type of person who always brings cash, so I find the Yazz card convenient, because I don’t have to bring money in my pocket wherever I go. Imagine, I get the same perks of a credit card without a need for credit evaluation or bank account.” All Yazz cards are EMV-enabled, which assures security and protection against theft.  “Plus, I’m not afraid to overspend. Since it’s a Prepaid Card — ang pwede ko lang gamitin yung na-load ko. So I only spend within my budget.”

For Alden, who’s been blessed with such a successful year, “My only wish this Christmas is to spend more time with my family. Whether here or abroad, it doesn’t matter, basta sama sama kami,” he shares.

Should Alden choose to spend the holidays abroad, traveling and shopping becomes even easier as Yazz is accepted in over 40 million VISA-accredited merchants worldwide. Registered Yazz users can also enjoy aggregate purchases of up to P100,000 per month, which means more purchasing power with your card. And in instances when you need cash, you don’t need to worry as you can simply withdraw at the nearest ATM.

“With the Yazz card, you don’t have to worry as well about spending beyond your budget because you have complete control of your purchasing power,” he beams. “With the Yazz card, you can have it all.”

With P300 one can avail of the Yazz prepaid VISA card by simply providing the essential details for registration. Once the card is activated, you can use it immediately. It also comes with a free P50 load.

To reload funds into your Yazz card, you can visit any of Yazz loading partners.  The minimum load amount is P100 per transaction, while maximum load is P10,000, with a set P20 loading fee automatically deducted from each loading transaction. To confirm the transaction, users can check his/her load via the Yazz mobile app, website, ATM, customer service or via SMS inquiry.

For your shopping pleasure, Yazz also allows a maximum aggregate load of P100,000 per month, giving you more reasons to live big.

Yazz is available at Yazz booths all around Metro Manila including selected MRT stations. It is also available at  SM Malls at their Business Centers and Bills Payment Counters located at the SM Department Store, SM Supermarket, SM Hypermarket, Walmart, Savemore, and CDR-King branches nationwide. Robinsons Business Centers at all Robinsons Department Stores nationwide accept Yazz loading as well.
