MANILA, Philippines — Apart from glitz and glamour, red carpet fashion events like the recently concluded ABS-CBN Ball bring about funny comments and memes.
“Parang tissue,” a netizen said of actress Alice Dixson’s white Mia Urquico gown at the ball.

“Nakikita ko na ang 2 star magic ball ng dragon ball hahaha,” a netizen said of Denise Laurel’s décolletage at the ball.

Netizens also joked that Jake Cuenca looked like a waiter in his Bang Pineda suit: “Sana malaki tip sa kanya mamaya. Hahaha.”
“Yung feeling na napilitan ka lang umattend kasi alam mong pupunta ex mo,” a netizen said of Gretchen Ho.

Likewise, Kim Chiu’s pose captured the attention of netizens. One of them commented: “Ganyan sa medical kapag nagpapa x ray.. hinga malalim… ok tapos na.” The photo of Chienna Filomeno was then described as the x-ray result.
