Avant-garde artist and fashion designer Jun Jun Ablaza recently held an electrifying fashion show featuring his latest collection, Neon Nirvana, at the Manila Fashion Festival held at the Marquee Tent of EDSA Shangri-La, Manila in Mandaluyong City. Known for his edgy, maximalist aesthetic, the visionary designer’s newest collection was true to form as his models walked the runway one by one, to the audience’s awe. Each look was meticulously created using neon colors and unexpected materials like measuring tapes, security vests, bungee cords, and others. The whole collection was a true testament to Jun Jun’s gift for new ideas and seeing beauty where others don’t.
A triple A celebration
Socialites and best buddies Agile Zamora, Arlene Yu and Ayna Ong recently held a joint birthday celebration at Chef Jessie in Rockwell, Makati City. The long-time buddies gathered several of their friends from the social and business circles and enjoyed a sumptuous spread of fine cuisine. Looking lovely in their purple, pink and red ensembles, the ladies expressed gratitude for the blessings of 2017 and anticipation for what is to come in 2018.
