Sarah Geronimo says relationship with Mommy Divine now okay
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya singer Sarah Geronimo revealed that she and her mother Divine are now in good terms.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, Sarah said that Divine congratulated her for her latest achievements.
“Yes! Thank you Lord! I love you, Ma!” Sarah said.
“Love you ‘Ma. We love our moms,” Sarah's husband Matteo Guidicelli added.
Recently, Sarah received her Global Force Award in Billboard Women in Music Awards at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, California.
"Super unexpected ‘yun. The first time I learned about it, na-surprise talaga ako. Sobrang inspiring also for an artist like me. Nagpahinga ako, took a break, then I released new songs," Sarah said.
“Medyo I questioned, ‘Gusto ba ng mga tao songs na nilalabas ko?’ And then this came, parang I feel na ‘wow, may nakaka-appreciate ng ginagawa ko still,’" she added.
In another interview, Sarah said her mom Divine is her hero.
“Totoo naman mga mommies po natin ang heroes natin. Our parents ang heroes natin," she said.
