Hawaiian Airlines launches trip-giveaway contest via Facebook
MANILA, Philippines - Facebook friends now have an opportunity to fly to any destination of Hawaiian Airlines in Hawaii, North America and the Pacific Rim via a new Facebook contest launched by the airline.
Dubbed the “Send a Friend” contest that runs through Dec. 14, everyone has a chance to give a special gift this holiday season by visiting the Hawaiian Airlines (HA) Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/HawaiianAirlines) and accessing the “Send A Friend” app. Participants can then select one of their Facebook friends, choose a destination, and click “Publish” to enter.
If selected, both the person entering the contest and their selected Facebook friend will each win a trip for two anywhere Hawaiian flies (flights are subject to seat availability). The winners will enjoy a unique flight experience that has won fans of Hawaiian everywhere it flies, with its onboard celebration of Hawaii’s renowned culture, people, natural beauty, and Aloha Spirit.
Hawaiian offers an enticing menu of 24 travel destinations to select from. In North America it flies to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, San José, Sacramento, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Las Vegas and New York City (begins June 4, 2012). In the Pacific Rim Hawaian flies to Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka (begins April 16, 2012), Sydney, Manila, Seoul, Tahiti and American Samoa. And in Hawaii it flies to Honolulu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island (Hilo and Kona).
For the past seven years, Hawaiian has led all US carriers in on-time performance as reported by the US Department of Transportation. In addition, consumer surveys by Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, and Zagat have all ranked Hawaiian the top domestic airline offering flights to Hawaii. Hawaiian also provides approximately 150 daily jet flights between the Hawaiian Islands.
