The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines -Maple offers pancakes that are light and fluffy. There is the blueberry and cream cheese pancake tower with a serving of blueberry preserves and cream cheese in between, topped with warmed blueberry compote and maple syrup. Much of the restaurant’s list of comfort foods is also doused with the distinct taste of the golden liquid, from the delectable buns served with every meal to dishes such as Maple’s Bourbon Bread Pudding. Other dishes include Chilean mussels, grilled chicken and USDA-grade steaks, Huevos Rancheros, a special breakfast of delectable meat and veggies topped with a sunny-side up egg and a special sauce, and prime rib tapa, a marinated slab of beef.  A must-try for kids is the Mac and Cheese and mini desserts made special with chocolate stars and sprinkles.
