'Peace Plates' at The Café Mediterranean

-

MANILA, Philippines - The Café Mediterranean offers its “Peace Plates” menu, which features a wealth of flavors from a region otherwise marred by violence and unrest.

The restaurant first introduced their “Peace Plates” menu in 2009, when conflict raged in Syria and Lebanon. In the light of the latest protests and upheavals in the Middle East, they decided to revive the specials.

The menu consists of Tunisian potato salad with eggs (P165), the Algerian quinoa salad (P195), Egyptian chickpea salad (P175), grilled ciabatta pizza with tomato pesto (P165), Chermoula (P255), Portobello burger (P265), Egyptian spiced orange and raisins (P95), and panna cotta for dessert.

The Café Mediterranean has branches at Rockwell Business Center, Ortigas Ave., Pasig City; Greenbelt 1, Ayala Center; The Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Center; The Podium, Ortigas Center; SM Mall of Asia; Corte de las Palmas, Alabang Town Center; Station 1, Boracay; Chimes, Davao City; and at the Asian Development Bank Complex in Pasig City.
