Here’s to years of togetherness without long-distance calls

my LIPS are SEALED… sometimes… - Maurice Arcache -
The couple had a long-distance relationship, dahlings, because Matthew Lloren had to first finish his Masteral studies in the U.S. of A. while cyber-smart workasonic Tani Aragon worked for the popular Northwest Airlines in Manila.

Their romance could be described as being one straight out of a movie, palanggas. When Fil-American Matthew L. had just finished studying Law in London, he came to the Philippines two years ago to visit relatives. Little did he know that he would meet the wife of his dreams who, as if destined by fate, just happened to be his cousin’s officemate at Northwest. In just two weeks time, Matthew knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Tani A. The only problem was that he had to return to the US for his Masters.

And so began a barrage of phone calls, e-mails and occasional trips to and from the States. After all, Tani works for that in-demand international airline Northwest, natch!

When Matthew finished his studies, he jetted back to Cosmo Manille and the couple tied the knot in a most beautiful ceremony attended by famille, pals and associates.

The bride chose to wear a most original and exquisite dark silver-gray gown embellished with twinkling Swarovski crystals. Her entourage included her sister Tata Aragon and her close pals like Northwest Airlines marketing communications manager, super head turner Candy Ochoa; Teen Philippine’s vibrant Bebeth Timbol; brilliant Ginggay Joven; NW-ITI account manager Marica Cabrera; Maryrose Centenera; Ana Esperanza-Uy; Canon marketing manager Tet Magno; and Citibank public affairs officer Peach Nazareno. These ladies were absolutely gorgeous in their simple navy and silver long gowns.

Apres
the matrimonial rites officiated by the couple’s beloved Msgr. Don Erfe and Rev. Fr. Greg Ramos, the so-in-love couple and their chosen invitees dashed to the nearby Pan Pacific Hotel Manila for the intimate fun reception.

The tres visible hotshots included the namedroppable sponsors, famille pals like taipan Leon Ang and his tres charmant wife Susan A.; elegant beauty, Doña Amparo vda. de Aspiras; businessman Tony Bejar and his wife, ADB’s Maryann B.; Eufrosina Nisce; DMCI’s mega gentleman Cesar Buenaventura; la simpaticasisima Marixi Prieto; Directory Philippines president Joe Laig; lawyer Luisa Quintana; premiere businessman Ramon Mojica and his pretty, pretty wife Marivic M.; eye-catcher Lourdes Sianghio; SGV’s magnum CEO Cesar Purisima; well-liked civic-oriented socialite Letty Syquia and her popular husband, Ambassador Enrique S.; engineer Camilo Tabora; Rustan’s vibrant Southern beauty Nena Tantoco and her husband, Rustans Commercial Corp.’s hardworking president, boyish-looking Rico Tantoco; EEI GM Eddie Torroba; and Dr. Milagros Torres.

Enjoying themselves at the reception were the bride’s former boss, the gentleman behind IDEAZplus’ success story, Bob Zozobrado; Northwest Airlines-ITI’s stylish and brilliant GM who has just become a proud happy mother, Gina Campos with her mega businessman husband, boyish-looking Jan Campos; San Miguel’s Brian Medina; cousins Manolet and Nickey Lloren; and our palangga Llita Logarta.

Having a great time during the toast to the newlyweds with the bubbly champagne were SNN’s Breakfast Show producer Mico Halili; Judge Ramon Mojica; Quisumbing Torres Law Office’s Jomar Castillo; super pals, popular PR men and society columnist Donnie Ramirez and Resty Vergara; plus tons of relatives who jetted in from the States and more pals too many to mention, dahlings.

Apres
the well-prepared sumptuous sit-down dinner and entertaining program, the couple’s souvenir giveaways of pillows were distributed to the delighted guests.

Sooner than you could ask, "Where are you going for your honeymoon?", Matthew and Tani jetted off to exotic Thailand on the smooth as silk Thai Airways for their romantic getting-to-know-you honeymoon.

To Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Lloren, here’s to years of togetherness with no more long distance phone calls, dahlings.

Cheers, palanggas!
