MANILA, Philippines — Pico de Loro Cove officially welcomed the Yuletide season last Nov. 24 with the lighting of a 30-feet tall Christmas tree decorated with mostly organic materials found anywhere along the 42-hectare property’s verdant trails such as twigs, branches and coconut spathe.
Abaca rope, silk flowers, and reused Christmas balls were entwined to create garlands adorning the tree. Illuminated with 3,000 led lights with blue accent lights at each corner, the tree is a sight to behold on the way to Pico Beach.
