World of Music @ New World Hotel
MANILA, Philippines - “We are the World”, a concert for the rehabilitation of a hospital in Leyte that was devastated by Typhoon Yolanda, was successful in bringing the voices of the international community in harmony, last June 17, 2014.
International Bazaar Foundation chairperson Gretchen del Rosario, spouse of DFA Secretary Albert del Rosario, led the evening’s celebration. Complementing the Ambassadors and their spouses singing were Austria Consul General Washington Sycip and Monaco Consul General and event chairperson, World of Music, Fortune Ledesma.
The venue was the ballroom of the New World Makati Hotel, special compliments of Farid Schoucair, general manager, who provided 500 guests with impeccable cocktails and gastronomic delights.
