The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Ladies who love fashion cannot resist the charm of chic, colorful and sophisticated pair of shoes. What more if it has soft, supple and sturdy leather finish with prints, glitter or studs?

New York-based shoe brand Yosi Samra finally sets foot in Manila for the hip and trendy ladies to enjoy. Whether it’s for an after-party look or just kickin’ around at the mall, dressed up in a sexy LBD or dressed down in denim, the brand’s wide range of styles and colors will surely cater to every fashionista’s need.

Pair a studded T-strap with a denim ensemble, a Lace Two-Tone with an LBD, or a crackle metallic stripe with a cute perky number. The best thing about Yosi Samra is it’s foldable, so it can be stashed in a tote and be easily pulled out to be the “feet-saver” after a long day in “killer” heels.

Designer Yosi Samra, a second-generation shoe impresario, learned at the feet of his father, who cobbled together custom-made shoes for a select, discerning clientele. Watching his father lovingly create these great pieces, the shoe designer absorbed the fine art that went into making them.

After debuting his eponymous line in 2009, Yosi Samra’s elegant aesthetic and gorgeously designed collection created a clamor for more and paved the way for the Israeli designer to expand to flip-flops, bags, loafers, booties and kiddie fold-up flats.

(Yosi Samra is located at Glorietta 4, SM Aura, Rockwell Power Plant Mall, GAS Greenbelt 3, TriNoma, SM Mall of Asia and Alabang Town Center.)
