A new chapter of brillance
The Maybank Performing Arts Theater in BGC Arts Center, Taguig City dazzled as the Alice Reyes Dance Philippines (ARDP), under the inspiring leadership of the incandescent National Artist for Dance Alice Reyes, and the hardworking ARDP president Tats Rejante Manahan, opened its 2025 season with Pagdiriwang: Alay sa Sining at Sayaw. Attended by dance luminaries, culturati, and enthusiasts, the event showcased seven stunning pieces by seven choreographers, each celebrating the troupe’s versatility in both technique and storytelling. Highlights included Denisa Reyes’ Muybridge Frames, Augustus Damian’s riveting world premiere C’est La Cie, and Alice Reyes’ poignant Amada.
Thunderous ovations and heartfelt praises from the audience crowned the weekend, promising an exciting year ahead for this vibrant young company.

A night of love and celebration
It was an evening to remember as the ever-charming Ian Fenton marked two milestones — his fabulous birthday and 25 sweet years of wedded bliss with his lovely wife Marissa Fenton — at the elegant Caruso Ristorante Italiano in Makati City. Joined by their precious daughter Angel, as well as their dearest friends, the celebration was brimming with laughter, love, and the enchanting melodies of soloist pianist Alan Matas. With fine dining, heartfelt toasts, and a dance floor alive with joy, the night was nothing short of spectacular.
