MANILA, Philippines — Robby Tarroza made a name as a commercial model then as showbiz personality, appearing in such popular TV shows as That’s Entertainment, and making movies, his first and most memorable of which was the comedy Naughty Boys where he co-starred with Romnick Sarmenta, Jojo Alejar and Michael Locsin.

Robby had a five-year movie contract with Seiko Films, and also was signed up for a recording contract with Hollywood producer Larry Scott.

Aside from performing for both the small and big screens, Robby also had successful stints in producing and directing. But after proving his mettle in these fields, he left to become a creative director. And it was here where he achieved utmost fulfillment, he said.

“I created many ads, the most memorable of which was the Glutamax ad featuring Jinky Oda. After this, I left for Singapore where I was based for a while. I created regional ads for international brands. My efforts were noticed and rewarded and I became the highest paid creative director in Asia!”

Now, Robby is proving his worth in another field — the corporate world — and in the United States no less!

Based now in Southern California, Robby is the marketing director for a group of medical companies. “It’s a different world, much different from show business, but similar in that you have to do your best in order to succeed! In both fields, you need both dedication and commitment to go up the ladder.”
