MANILA, Philippines — Jasmine Urquico Omay (center) was named the first Miss Midori Clark, with runners-up (from left) Christine Juliane Opiaza (third), Emma Mary Tiglao (first), Elaiza Dee Alzona (second) and Anie Uson (fourth).

Omay won after nailing the common final question, ‘Give your best definition of the phrase, the beauty of the new generation.’

Her answer: ‘We are living in a fast-paced world where we encounter issues and problems. And at this moment, what the generation needs is an inspiration to lead and to inspire other people. And I believe that Miss Midori Clark is not only limited (to having) beauty and brains but also with confidence and also a sense of responsibility.  She gives an equal improvement of her responsibilities and she can empower beauty through her advocacy. And let me say this, let us all be Midori-fied and be satisfied.”

Omay, 19 and 5’8” tall, is an incoming Business Administratio freshman. She received the Golden Empress crown designed by Manny Halasan, P300,000 cash prize and P790,000 worth of full private pilot license course from Omni Airline Training Academy. Earlier this year, she placed second runner-up in 2018 Miss Tarlac City and was a Top 8 finalist in 2018 Miss Hannah’s World Tourism Philippines.

Timmy Diwa, a former Viva Films actor, currently the Marketing and PR head of Midori Clark Casino, said that the winners and qualified candidates of the pageant will be offered job opportunities with the company.
