James Yap’s partner captivates Duterte
MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte was mesmerized once again – this time, by James Yap’s partner Michela Cazzola.
In an Instagram post by Michela, Duterte can be seen looking closely at her as she took a selfie with the president.
“Work hard,” the basketball player’s partner captioned.
The photo was taken at Edsa Shangri-La Hotel, during the closing dinner of the 51st Asian Development Bank Annual Meeting. Michela works as secretariat specialist for the company.
She also posted a video of Duterte arriving in the venue and captioned it “Boss in the house.”
Netizens were quick to comment on the photos; some noted that the Philippines’ commander-in-chief seemed to be captivated by the beauty of the basketball star’s Italian girlfriend.
Netizen @wenagincos19 commented: “Ang ganda ganda naman kasi tlaga ni Ms. @michelacazzola.”
Meanwhile, @kd_samtotzIba said: “tingin ni president....”

Last February 2017, Michela also posted a photo with Duterte and captioned it, “With the boss.”
Michela and James are expecting a baby girl in the coming months. Reports said the couple will plan their wedding after Michela gives birth to their second baby.
