Sexy Talk with Kiko & Derrick

Looks-wise, Kiko Estrada took after his father, Gary Estrada but he claimed to be “more like my mom (Cheska Diaz).”

And unlike Gary who was reputed to be a playboy when he was younger (now living happily ever after with his wife Bernadette Allyson and their children), Kiko also claimed to be a one-woman man. “Never akong nagsabay-sabay ng girlfriends,” he said although he was mum on who his last girlfriend was (was it Kim Rodriguez?) and who his current girlfriend is (Barbie Forteza).

Derrick Monasterio doesn’t talk much about his father but he’s open about his closeness to his mother, semi-retired actress Tina Monasterio. “I let my mom handle my finances,” said Derrick who turned 21 last Aug. 1. “I can be very generous, you know what I mean.”

His immediate past girlfriend was Issa Pressman (Yassi Pressman’s sister) but their relationship lasted for only more than a year due to lack of time. “I put my career first before everything else,” said Derrick.

Now into mature roles, Derrick has just signed a two-year contract with Regal Films which is launching his first-starring movie, probably casting him in the same mature roles he has been doing lately such as the one in an episode of the GMA drama series Karelasyon where he played a gardener who got into an affair with his employer (played by Elizabeth Oropeza).

Kiko is pursuing a similar career path. In his latest starrer, the GMA adult drama Sinungaling Mong Puso (based on the Vilma Santos and Aga Muhlach starrer), he plays a man torn between two loves (Rhian Ramos and Jazz Ocampo, with Rafael Rosell as Rhian’s husband).

One thing Kiko and Derrick also have in common: They were raised by single moms, no wonder they are Mama’s Boys. They are also among the new generation of sexiest actors.
