Where were Nadine Lustre, James Reid on Valentine’s Day?

MANILA, Philippines – James Reid admitted that he was with Nadine Lustre on Valentine’s Day.

The love team was spotted at a mall in Makati; their photo together circulated online.

“Nasa Rockwell kami. We were just shopping for computer games,” he replied when asked to confirm if they were together, during the “On the Wings of Love” press con on Tuesday.

He added, “To be honest, mayro’n kami dinner plans but it got canceled because the restaurant was full.”

So instead of looking for another restaurant, they just decided to go shopping for computer games.

Nadine also defended James from those who judged the Kapamilya actor from his bashers. Another photo of the love team circulated online from their Valentine’s Day celebration, where James was seen going down first of the escalator, letting Nadine carry her shopping bags.

“Kasi po ‘yong mga gamit ko na gano’n, I really don’t mind kung ako ang magbitbit,” said Nadine, pointing out that James offered to help her.

“Number one it’s not really heavy, number two kaya ko naman ‘yon,” she added. “Even sa shoot minsan wala akong PA (personal assistant), I carry my own stuff, I drive. So it’s really nothing to me.”

The “On the Wing of Love” stars also clarified that they remain “really close friends,” amid the reports that they were already together.

However, Nadine admitted that she became more comfortable opening up to James after the personal trials she went through last year.

“I’m opening up to him. He cheers me up palagai, so ever since then sa kanya na ako nagse-share palagi,” she said.

Nadine and James renewed their contract with ABS-CBN this morning. As their current show comes to an end on February 26, Dreamscape head Deo Endrenal announced that James and NaDine will star in another TV series after their world tour and movie. They will start shooting last week of June.
