Andrew E, Claire in Casino Filipino concert

MANILA, Philippines - As part of its July entertainment offerings, Casino Filipino (CF) will have Andrew E and Claire dela Fuente (photo) as featured artists in separate road tours in the various CF branches nationwide.

Andrew E is set to perform in Mimosa Satellite on July 10; Malabon Satellite (July 12); and 365 Plaza Satellite in Laoag (July 26). On the other hand, Claire will have a series of performances in CF Tagaytay (July 12); CF Bacolod (July 16); CF Angeles (July 19); CF Cebu (July 26); and CF Pavilion (July 30). Patrons can watch their shows for free on a first-come, first-served basis.

According to PAGCOR’s AVP for Entertainment Bong Quintana, both performers have already carved a niche in the music industry as bankable artists. “Napatunayan na ang kanilang kapasidad para humatak ng manonood. Bilang mga performers, sila ay mga beterano na sa entablado kaya naniniwala kami na mag-e-enjoy ang mga tao sa kanilang mga shows,” he said.

Andrew E rose to fame in the late ’80s to ’90s because of his Pinoy rap style which became a hit among the masses. He stated that CF guests can expect him to interact with them during his concert tour. “I will be singing mainly my hit songs and some covers of other artists’ popular hits. Excited na ako sa aking Casino Filipino National Tour this July and I am sure it will be a lot of fun,” he added.

Claire also expressed excitement about her upcoming concert tour. “This is one way of showing support to the local music industry. I believe OPM then and now is the same. Walang nagbago. We just need strong support and we are happy that PAGCOR is giving us that kind of support,” she said. 

Claire never fails to give her fans memorable romantic performances. With her talent and charisma, she easily captures the audience’s heart. These qualities made her one of the country’s most-sought after artists. Among the hits of the multi-platinum recording artist are Sayang, Sa Dulo Ng Landas, Ibulong Mo Sa Hangin, Mga Nakaw Na Sandali, Ikaw Ang Simula and Di Magbabago.
