Alden Richards inks exclusive contract with GMA

MANILA, Philippines - Alden Richards was welcomed by GMA Network officers as he signed an exclusive contract with the Kapuso Network.

Present in the contract signing were GMA chairman and CEO lawyer Felipe Gozon, president and COO Gilberto Duavit Jr., GMA Films president lawyer Annette Gozon-Abrogar, OIC of Entertainment TV Lilybeth Rasonable, VP for Entertainment Marivin Arayata, VP for Program Support Regie Bautista, AVP for Alternative Productions Gigi Lara, AVP for Corporate Communications Angel Javier-Cruz and program manager Charles Koo.

After several successful projects with the Network, Alden is thrilled to renew his ties with GMA.

“Sobra akong happy. Nararamdaman ko naman na tama yung naging desisyon namin to pursue GMA talaga. Even before when I was doing a lot of auditions in different networks I felt that my calling was with GMA. I feel at home here. After Alakdana, I was given a lot of projects, movies, soaps and endorsements. The way I see my career now in GMA is moving forward every year — moving forward with good projects, good imaging and good opportunities na naibibigay sa akin. I’m just so proud to be a Kapuso.”

During the contract signing, Gozon expressed his gladness that Alden remains to be a Kapuso. â€œToday is a special day because we signed Alden Richards, isang magaling na artista.”

On the other hand, Duavit says that Alden is one of the most promising actors today and the viewers could look forward to seeing him do more enticing programs. “Hindi naman kaila na si Alden kung potensyal ang pag-uusapan at husay eh walang kaduda-duda. Ang nakikita natin is great opportunities for Alden and we’re very excited kasi habang lumalapad at lumalalim ang ating kumbaga’y bench mas maraming posibilidad rin pagdating sa mga programa ang pwede nating ihandog sa ating mga manonood. I think our audience can look forward to even better and progressively more entertaining programs.”
