Sharon’s The 6 On Rallos

FUNFARE - Ricky Lo - The Philippine Star

Invest in real estate.

That’s Regal Matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde’s mantra, repeated to friends every chance she gets.

“Your money multiplies because the prices of real estate keep on going up,” she would say, “and never go down.”

Might as well be the mantra of equally business savvy Sharon Cuneta (yes, she sold her Wack-Wack, Mandaluyong City home to a prominent businessman famous for “flying colors”) who, without many people knowing it, has just finished building The 6 On Rallos which is made up of six high-quality exclusive four-storey townhouses at No. 74 Scout Rallos, Quezon City, a stone’s throw from the trendy restaurants in the area and within walking distance to and from Tomas Morato and Timog Avenues.

According to STAR columnist Wilson Lee Flores, who moonlights as a real-estate broker, another developer in the area described the project as “most beautiful and with the best prime location; Sharon is really a wise investor.”

More information from Wilson:

  •  Sharon’s residential project of six townhouses has contemporary modern, elegant and functional designs by her brother-in-law architect John Pangilinan, who is a younger brother of Sharon’s husband, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan; management trainer and motivational speaker Anthony Pangilinan; and talent manager Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano.
  • Sources said that Sharon personally discussed and reviewed every detail of the architectural plans with John in many meetings to ensure that each townhouse is meticulously crafted with premium materials, practical features and beautiful designs.
  • An Architecture graduate from UP, John apprenticed with the noted Architect Bobby Mañosa. He then attended the University of North London in the United Kingdom for his post-graduate degree with focus on low-energy architecture. His studies brought him to various places in Europe, especially Austria, which greatly influenced his style and design philosophy. For continuing studies, John attended courses at the Cambridge University in England.
  • The unique design features (by Sharon and John) are: Each townhouse has three bedrooms all with toilet and baths (the masters bedroom has a bathtub), a power room on the second level, a big attic with toilet and bath which is ideal as a family room or entertainment room or can be converted into additional one or two guestrooms/bedrooms (the attic has an open-air roof-deck), beautiful dining and living areas, clean kitchen and separate service kitchen both have modular cabinets, maid’s room with toilet and bath. The stairs have tempered-glass railings for aesthetic purposes.
  • Each townhouse has accent louvers to ensure privacy of unit owners. Each floor has unique specially-designed laundry chutes similar to those in high-end condos and hotels. Even with good water supply in the compound, each townhouse residence has three water tanks for green environment purposes. The compound has a spacious six-meter-wide common driveway. Units One and Four have two balconies each, while the others have one balconies each.
