Parade of Binibinis

MANILA, Philippines - Other than the 50 candidates who competed at the Bb. Pilipinas Gold (50th anniversary) last April 14 at the Big Dome, another attraction was the presence of 65 former title-holders who lent glamour and glitter to the red carpet, helping make the event the Mother of Beauty Contests.

Photos of some of them on this page show that the passing of years hasn’t left any indelible marks on the faces of the ladies described in the Bb. Pilipinas theme song (by Jose Mari Chan) as ‘captivating, so exciting.’

 They are veritable golden girls.
