Star Magic holds workshops

MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN Star Magic will offer a series of public workshops in October. For the first time, the output of the intensive acting workshop will be a broadcast quality full-length feature digital film in high definition. The participants will get intensive training in front of the camera and will get to act with Star Magic prime and seasoned actors.

The workshop will culminate in a digital film’s premiere night to showcase the participant’s skills and talents in film and TV. It will be headed by Star Magic Artists Training director Rahyan Carlos. He has been teaching acting for the past 13 years and he was trained by Judith Weston, a renowned acting coach for actors and directors in Hollywood.

Aside from the acting workshops for teens and adults, there will be acting dance and voice workshops for kids.

Registration is on Set. 24 and Oct. 1 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Limited slots are available.
