Resorts World's Grand Fiesta Run

MANILA, Philippines - Resorts World Manila presents Grand Fiesta Run 2010  on Nov. 28 at the New Port City. The public is invited to register for the 3K, 5K and 10K categories. Registration fee is P650.

A 1K rat race will also be available for fun runners and those who will come in their office outfits or their most colorful and creative fiesta-inspired attire. They will get the chance to win special prizes.

Those who will register in groups of four in Resorts World Manila will get one dine and play voucher worth P500 which they can use to dine in selected establishments in Resorts World. Individual registrants will get a P300 match and play voucher. Those who will register in Chris Sports will get a five-percent discount on selected items.

Aside from all the high you get from running, Resorts World Manila has big prizes at stake to make the event extra special. Major prize is a trip for four to Singapore in Resorts World’s private jet. The three-day, two-night trip to Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore comes with complimentary tickets to Universal Studios. Another major prize is a three-day, two-night cruise for two, courtesy of Star Cruises from Singapore to Malaysia and back, complete with accommodations, meals and access to all the onboard entertainment. Winners will get the chance to experience flying via Resorts World’s private jet, no less. Aside from these, there will be a lot of special prizes to be raffled off to lucky runners.

Registration counters are located at the Resorts World Tour Counter, Chris Sports branches at SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall and Glorietta and R.O.X., Bonifacio Global High Street.

Grand Fiesta Run will use the RFID timing chip which sends an SMS and e-mail of your finish time as soon you cross the finish line. Assembly time for all registered runners is at 5 a.m. Earliest gunstart (for the 10K category) is at 6 a.m.
